CHASSE STEM… at home!
CHASSE is a BIG supporter of STEM and STEM-based learning opportunities! STEM is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering and mathematics. In addition to building skills such as problem solving, information analysis and evidence evaluation, STEM-based learning can help generate interest in STEM-based careers – including construction! From project-based learning and CHASSE Construction Days to involvement in programs like the CACTUS program and The Better Building Project, we believe that the best way to generate interest in STEM is through hand-on projects and learning opportunities. For that reason, we created this page of at-home STEM projects, each CHASSE tested and approved, to help students, teachers and parents provide STEM-based projects for the next generation of builders!
