CHASSE is a huge proponent of hands-on learning opportunities! Alongside JB Steel, we held tours at Pima Community College for 50 welding and construction students along with their teachers! The group got the chance to tour their new facility and get an inside look at the college’s soon-to-be Automotive, Technology, and Innovation Center. The goal of the day was to enhance student’s knowledge of construction, specifically the welding trade, provide an overall view of the field, and inform them why pursuing a career in welding would be beneficial. Not only did students learn about a potential career path, but also focused on the importance of leadership and how to be a driving force in the field.
