Dove Mountain creates a hands-on learning environment for students with its makerspaces, outdoor learning, AR/VR spaces, science labs, and lessons based in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (CSTEM). Not only does Dove Mountain provide hands-on learning, but the school itself provides an exploratory, creative, hands-on learning environment through its design.
The unique school building design is a celebration of student-driven learning and making. Classrooms have direct access to exterior outdoor learning areas. This site-responsive building acts as a teaching tool, highlighting the natural ecosystems of the site and respecting the natural landscape.
