On October 3rd, CHASSE Building Team gathered with Deer Valley Unified School District, ADM Group and community members to celebrate the groundbreaking of Deer Valley #31.
It was a beautiful clear, 80-degree morning – such a perfect way to celebrate! Deer Valley Unified School District is building a brand new, 83,000(+) SF school in the Union Park development, located just north of Happy Valley Road at 21st Avenue. The school will feature four masonry buildings with steel floors and roof structures. Two of those buildings will be dedicated classroom spaces, while the other two buildings will house the administration and cafeteria/gymnasium.
The event included a performance from the Barry Goldwater band and an appearance from the Barry Goldwater Bulldog mascot since the students that attend Deer Valley #31 will likely feed into Barry Goldwater High!
We also enjoyed kind words from a variety of speakers that included representatives of DVUSD, ADM Group, CHASSE Building Team, USAA and more.
We ended the celebration with the ceremonial breaking of ground and LOTS of photos with all of the wonderful people that will be a part of building Deer Valley Unified School District’s newest school!
