This month, alongside JB Steel and DLR Group we held tours at Pima Community College for 50 welding and construction students along with their teachers! The group got the chance to tour their new facility and get an inside look at the schools soon to be Automotive, Technology, and Innovation Center. The goal of the day was to enhance students knowledge of construction, specifically the welding trade, provide an overall view of the field, and inform why pursuing a career in welding would be beneficial. Not only did students learn about a potential career path, but also focused on the importance of leadership and how to be a driving force in the field.
We’re proud to be able to work with our partners and clients to enhance the knowledge of the construction industry for Arizona students and are constantly looking for innovative ways to guide students and graduates to the trade industries! In addition to tours and construction days at various schools, CHASSE provides a comprehensive in-house internship program. During their internship, students are given hands-on office and field experience working alongside our teammates in multiple construction related roles.
