The Summer of Transformations!

As the first month of school comes to a close, so do some of our summertime education renovation projects!  From new gymnasiums to new career prep programs, South Mountain High School, Biltmore Preparatory Academy, and Desert Oasis Elementary School all received amazing transformations this summer. Learn more about each of the projects below!

South Mountain High School 
Big school advantage, small school experience: South Mountain High School renovated their school to incorporate an Academies program preparing students for an array of career fields ranging from Aerospace Education to Visual Media! On August 15th we celebrated a ribbon cutting for South Mountain’s new campus and program.

 Biltmore Preparatory Academy
Biltmore Preparatory Academy received a brand new 8,800 SF gymnasium and renovation to their current multipurpose building. We celebrated with a ribbon cutting where students, staff, and the community were able to participate! The gymnasium includes a basketball court, bleachers, and a stage for school performances. Their current multipurpose building was renovated to provide brand new flexible classrooms and learning spaces with translucent walls.

Desert Oasis Elementary School 
Desert Oasis Elementary School received a brand new 33,000 SF building that will house a new gymnasium complete with two basketball courts and bleachers, science labs, collaborative spaces, a performing arts stage with a state-of-the-art audio visual system and theatrical lighting, and band room. We gathered on July 29th to celebrate the building with a ribbon-cutting event. Staff, students, and their families participated in the ribbon cutting and then headed right into Meet the Teacher night!
