Cutting Edge Design

When it comes to the design elements of The Astor at Osborn, the key was maintaining the old-school vibe of downtown Phoenix while functioning as a live, work, and play development! Design elements such as brick exterior and the use of wood throughout the complex create a classic downtown Phoenix appearance, while amenities like the coffee bar and multiple community spaces help to initiate socialization within the complex. Systems such as an energy-efficient HVAC, foam roofing and LED lighting were also utilized successfully achieve LEED Silver Certification!

Construction and Craftsmanship 

This LEED Silver complex was built with safety in mind! The wood framing that lines the building was built with fire treated lumber. This lumber increases the safety inside the building and provides the exterior with increased structural integrity in case of a fire. One challenge the team faced was a tight sight in an active neighborhood. Through regular communication with the community and emphasis on being a good neighbor our team was able to minimize disruption and successfully complete the project!
