Serving as a permanent reminder of those who lost their lives during a mass shooting on January 8, 2011, a new memorial, The Embrace, will be located in El Presido Park in Tucson, Arizona. The memorial will commemorate the wonderful Tucson spirit that emerged following the 2011 tragedy, and remind future generations how we can all continue to build a better community through active participation.
