Barry Chasse Honored As Construction Executive of the Year

On Friday, May 3rd, Barry Chasse was recognized as one of the Valley of the Sun’s CFMA Construction Executive’s of the Year! Categories included General Contractor of the Year, Subcontractor of the Year, and Emerging Leader of the Year. The purpose of the event is to draw the finest in Arizona construction and to tell the compelling and inspirational stories of industry leaders. This year, Barry Chasse was recognized for his philanthropic drive, care for other people, and commitment to the construction industry.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Barry Chasse made the trek to sunny Arizona to attend Arizona State University. Graduating in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction, Barry went on to work for one of the nation’s largest general contractor’s for 17 years, eventually serving as their Vice President, responsible for overseeing operations in Phoenix and San Diego. In 2007, Chasse took a leap of faith and opened CHASSE Building Team with the idea of “Building to make a difference…”

Everything Barry Chasse and CHASSE Building Team does today is focused on cultivating a great team, being great builders, and exceeding the expectations of great clients and communities.

Chasse is a huge believer that if CHASSE has a positive, inspiring culture for its employees, then its employees will excel and ultimately so will the company. Because of this, we maximize our ability to make a positive difference. This has led to CHASSE investing $3+ million into over 100 Arizona charitable causes with a particular emphasis on child-focused philanthropy and efforts that benefit the education of our future leaders. And together, our employees volunteer 3,000+ hours annually. Chasse himself is a long-time Boys & Girls Clubs advocate who served as chairman of the Greater Scottsdale Board and headed the organization’s capital campaign. Today he’s a member of the Board of Governors and Board of Trustees.

Congratulations Barry!
