On Wednesday, September 19th, we broke ground on Tolleson Union High School District’s brand new high school, West Point. Future home of the Dragons, this school will boast over 310,000 sf of space for future students. Remarks were presented by Superintendent, Mrs. Nora Gutierrez, President of the Governing Board, Ms. Corina Madruga, CHASSE Building Team President, Barry Chasse, and Owner of ADM Group, Ben Barcon.
What makes West Point High School so special is it’s wing design to represent it’s partnership with Luke Air Force Base. CHASSE Building Team provided virtual tours of the new school with the use of 3D renderings, QR codes, and goggles.
Officials from the District, City, Governing Board, and Luke Air Force Base took part in the groundbreaking. All attendees were invited to take photos at the groundbreaking and were able to leave with a take-home photo printed right on site! Special thank you to everyone who came out and supported Tolleson Union High School District. We are very excited to partner with TUHSD on their brand new high school!
Check out a conceptual fly-through of the new school! This state-of-the-art high school, constructed on 69 acres, is complete with interior courtyards containing shade structures and multiple seating locations for students, site parking for 900+ spaces, an artificial turf football stadium complete with grand stands for 4,000 fans, a running track, baseball and softball fields, and extensive offsite improvements. This project is being built in multiple phases to allow freshman and sophomore classes to occupy the campus for 2019. The remainder of campus, including the performing arts center, will be completed May 2020.
