Prior to the boutique renovation, Jefferson Elementary was home to a modular that stored clothing to be used by students in need. Partnering with the Mesa community we helped to renovate the space where kids and the community can come pick out clothes, shoes, and other necessities and we couldn’t be more excited to have been involved!
Our team gave the modular a fresh coat of paint, installed shiplap on one of the walls, and are currently helping equip the modular with air conditioning. New flooring and an update to the dressing rooms were also complete. Additionally, Mountain View High School’s own cabinetmaking students finished two large custom shelves, Red Mountain High School graphic art students designed a mural and additional artwork for the area, and EVIT designed animal artwork and completed curtains and racks.
After all the updates, it is now an adorable boutique where students and their families in need can have a fun shopping experience! Check out some photos from this fun, impactful project above and head over to the links below for more information!
