Job Description Chasse Superintendents are responsible for managing and coordinating all field activities while continually maintaining a safe and secure job site. Our Superintendents work begins in the preconstruction phase, providing experience and expertise to the design evolution and carries through the entire project, ensuring deadlines are met and expectations exceeded. Because they are involved on so many levels, our Superintendents possess superior business and communication skills allowing them to form trustworthy relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.


  • Responsible for the administration of the Project Safety Program and the safe execution of all activities, with strict adherence to company safety policies and programs including instituting corrective measures as needed for required results.
  • Ensure project permits are in place and regularly monitored for compliance with documentation.
  • Ensure company, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to.
  • Maintain continuous knowledge of contract specifications, documents and scope of work, including subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Responsible for oversight and management of administrative functions and reporting.
  • Responsible for oversight and management of technical / engineering functions. (i.e. planning, means & methods, scheduling, submittals, transmittals, shop drawings, critical lift plans, etc.) as needed.
  • Responsible for subcontractor scheduling to coordinate with daily work schedules to adhere to the master project schedule.
  • Responsible for daily superintendent report documenting weather, site conditions, information requests, daily labor, and material / equipment deliveries.
  • Participate in Lean Construction processes, including daily huddles, identification and resolution of project constraints, and collaboration with Subcontractors on schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with all Quality Control measures, testing requirements, and inspections.
  • Participate in formal and informal partnering sessions.
  • Ability to coordinate extra work requirements with the Project Manager.
  • Experience in bid processes to support, review and advise on schedules, means & methods, equipment requirements, labor requirements and cost.


  • High School diploma required.
  • Work experience in management of construction projects with contract value > $5.0 million within the education, multi-family, municipal, office, or retail markets.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a superintendent in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Plangrid, OSHA standards, dust control, and quality control.
  • Advanced knowledge of the construction industry practices, risk management and field operations required.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, communication and analytical skills are necessities.
